Rusty Lee single swivel - get to the gym?

Hi all,

When first fitted did anyone find the rusty lee single swivels obscenely difficult to spin?

I'm no weakling but the amount of effort required seems bonkers. I thought spinning them would be similar to the sliding back and forth action of the factory mechasims, but this is waaaaay beyond that.

I can manage it but there's no way my other half can do it and she's not exactly feeble either.

Is there some kind of adjust me to the tension that should be made first?

I thought the same so just sprayed some silicone in between the plates before it was fitted.

Fitted double swivel today and had the same problem!
As mentioned above @Pewt removed seat and spayed plates with silicon spray and has done the trick

I did hear they were the best swivels though? just need some lube and use?
