Peatey and Mfwic. We came via Shrewsbury to Llangollen, then from there to Conwy, Betws y Coed and down to Zip World near Festiniog.

I absolutey love this part of Wales. ( mostly for the MTB ).

I waved my hand off to fellow Vdubbers.

When I had my T25 a few years ago everybody waved wherever we were, probably because any t25's left on the road were likely owned by enthusiasts. Don't get so many with the t6 but it's still nice to have that camaraderie on the road.
Like the idea about the games, we will try that.
We do the 'spot the guy in shorts and flip flops' game, the count is quite high in summer but it is a game you can play all year round!!!!!!

Psst. Keep this to yourselves :speechless:

I belong to a secret society which compiles databases of T6 owners with full details of their vans and busses. We work really hard to ensure those who want to be waved back are disappointed. Our members include most VW dealerships as well.
If you are not being waved back at, it might just be that you have been blackballed and it’s one of our members following the plan!

Other active covert operations involve putting Hellmans into engines of vehicles being serviced and scoring fine lines on windscreens with a diamond to encourage cracking.

We currently are planning an operation to target T6s in Wales because they wave far too much.

@Davenjo - You were first on the list :sneaky:

I should have posted this yesterday. Doh!

I wouldn’t mind if we were in Wales - I know nobody likes me there :). We were driving up to Berwick and back - those northern lads and lasses normally wave back - your influence must be growing :)

Been to north wales yesterday and south shropshire today, and have been doing nothing but returning waves to others campers everywhere, my arms ache:D they were waving before i could pull the trigger!
I travel to Barmouth then back to Bridgnorth loads....hundreds of waves. Friendly folk us Salopians.
