Hi all,

Can anyone tell me what fabric these seats are covered in? I think the fabric is Simora but wanted I check. I’m planning to do a Kombi conversion and I want to match the new seats to the ones I already have.

What I would do is but the foams (not that expensive) from VW and get a trimmer to copy the Caravelle leather. Although this is not something they usually want to to, as the patterns are different from the normal seats so more work.

Managed to buy some multivan foams and drivers leather seat covers from a boy in Poland, will have a go at fitting them myself.

Looks like black leather upgrade covers with double diamond white stitching retro fitted by VW, very nice.

Yes but they are not covers, this is the actual seat covering… the front seats had covers matching this 2+1 bench which was fitted by previous owner… I remain baffled!

I’ve tried to figure out what fabric the seats are made from. The pattern is Austin but it’s the darker material I’m after. Any advise would be appreciated.

This is my new 2020 Caravelle - I’m assuming this is Nappa leather in Titanium Black?



I’d like to get 2 more captain’s seats to add an occasional 4th row (it’s a LWB). A lot of the seats I’m seeing on eBay seem to be T5 ones - or at least not described as “Nappa” eg this “anthracite” one.
Does anyone know other trims that are similar-ish to mine?

Got a virtually brand new set of 2 +1 rears always had covers on and come with the seat belts and floor fixings in this trim. Open to sensible offers and have a friendly reliable courier for delivery.

Do you still have the seats etc.
