Selling a van in the post covid glut

I was thinking who else has recently tried to sell their van in the post covid glut of vans out there, I know there are some really nice vans and absolutely no correlation in price, build quality, specification, milage and age and a bit of a free for all and very subjective to the true value of a van.

So my question is who else has tried to sell a van recently and did you get the price you wanted compered to what you felt it was worth?

The only reason for me selling up is that I don't use it as much as I would like and just sits there doing nothing, I know if I really want to sell I am going to have to drop the price considerably compared to what I think its worth and if that's the case I might as well keep it!

I sold mine in Feb for a price I believe was fair, borderline cheap really. Had pretty much zero interest from eBay and actually sold via 'Quirky Campers' where I've just listed my Crafter too.

Now is definitely the best time to sell though, heading into the summer months!

Good luck with the sale

If this helps, I am trading my t6.1 for a caddy maxi cargo tsi mk5.
My van is a 22 highline with 18k panel van
Factory led headlights, some additional spoiler trim and the usual highline fitment options.
Was looking to sell it private for £28k no vat as not vat registered.
I think this is a reasonable price.
To my amazement, the vw dealership I am trading vans with offered me this exact figure without knowing my price.
I think some of these vans personally are priced way over the top for what they are.
GLWS buddy in whatever you do 👍
