Looking to sell my new t6.1. Advice.

I think id go the complete opposite way and say get married…..i had the best day…never wanted to get married(i wasn’t pushed into it) and so glad i did.

Vans come and go. Iv had 11 in 3 years and never 100% happy with them so move them on…it a lump of metal..if its something you want, you will make it happen in the future.

Then again disregards what i and everyone else has said above as it doesnt mean a thing…everyone has a different opinion, shame everyone has chosen a van.haha.

Back to the point…which is what you want…. Autotrader, ebay, facebook marketplace, facebook pages. Will cost you a total of about £80. Do decent pictures with a good backdrop(make sure its clean) with every bit of info. Leave nothing to imagination as will stop stupid questions and attract real buyers.
Last option is ring a vw dealer or trawl autotrader for traders and give them a bell.(don’t get me wrong it wont be private sales money)People always looking for stock. Especially with such low mileage

I don't think that anyone has said don't get married. Most are in agreement that it doesn't have to cost an arm and leg to do so.

My thoughts exactly. It's funny how a £20 bunch of flowers costs £40 as soon as you mention the word "wedding" and just about everything else associated with weddings is similarly affected. (It's a bit like owning a T6!)
I know people who are still paying for their weddings five years later because they did it on credit cards, including a friend who spent £500 on HIS shoes, which nobody noticed because they looked just like my shoes which cost a fraction as much. I don't dare ask what her shoes cost.
Stag parties in Las Vegas aren't strictly necessary either!
My middle daughter got married in August, she had a fantastic day full of memories in a lovely venue, we all thoroughly enjoyed it, yet it was done on a tight budget.

I think people tend to not realise that a memorable day isn’t forged by the amount you spend on it, but by the people that you spend it with. It’s not a day that should require anyone to financially cripple themselves over, and if that is what is happening then they’ve lost sight of the true meaning of it.

Anyone attending that would pass judgement about things like that, aren’t people that should have been there in the first place.

I didn’t invite half my family members and still haven’t been forgiven!
Beats me - I didn’t invite any, they just decided they’d come (parents from either side and my brother).

Oddly, our relationship with the moaning Minnie’s (my aunts and uncles that would have just found faults) didn’t change as a result. It’s like they knew we did them a favour.

That old anecdote about marriage being the best contraceptive was certainly true with my first wife. She was 12 years younger than me (probably still is!) Monetarily brought zero to our relationship, but left £52k richer and a 12 month old original Ford Puma! She was one that looked good on a shelf. £20k wedding, horrible day.
Bitter still? A bit!
Second time very lucky, we had Clearwell Castle for a day in the Forest of Dean via whirlwindweddings.com , £3k, 40 days to prepare. Genuinely a wonderful day, 20 years on, we are very happy.
The van has brought us closer together, a common interest, she loves being a part of the Forum! No, really! The girls and guys really made her feel welcome. We love our forum meets.

I met Mrs @Drive Wayne at Busfest and can confirm that she embraces forum life! (Her liver may disagree!!!)
