Show Us Your Camping Chairs

I have a couple that are the ultimate in portability and are reasonably comfortable until you try to get out of the damned things (they're very low down). I can't remember the price (not too expensive I seem think) nor their name (but, if you're interested, I could pop out to the van and find out).

Definitely interested...no rush though...

We have the Helinox Chair 2. Not cheap but pack down extremely small. Surprisingly comfortable. We love them. Takes about a minute to assemble. After three years of using them they still look and function like new.

Thank you, they look nice, high back looks comfortable.

I’ve probably added before that we are very happy with our Robens Observer chairs. Small and lightweight pack size but reasonably confortable to use. They appear to be somewhat similar to the Helinox but without the large plastic joint blocks, rather the frame struts slot together.

My two very different, but both useful, options.

I've had the Helinox copy for years, I bought it for motorbike touring and camping where space really is at a premium! When I've got enough room and I'm staying at a site, I'll be taking the bigger chair. Really comfy and reclines too so I can have a snooze in the sun

The big one is a Timber Ridge chair

Nothing as posh as your Timber Ridge, but we too have large and small chairs - only difference being that we always take both sets, so not really a space-saving strategy?!?!:unsure::whistle:

No, tbh I'll probably end up taking the big one, or at least making room for it, most of the time. But it's good to have an option if don't have the space!

We’ve gone for pretty much the same approach but got the helinox chair 2s (bought from forum) to keep in the van 24/7 and save carrying round the big chairs when not camping (mine are about 5kg each plus footrests!)

Funny I’ve just purchased these coming tomorrow I’ll let you know how they are. Would have gone for the Helinox but my budget could reach them
