A bit of a silly one but after spending some time on track I’ve become hooked! Have now got a 2CR R1 track bike and painted it bright pink. Couldn’t be anymore look at me, I just need to get out of novice group now lol!
I'm on the opposite end. 20 years of track days and racing and calling it a day. You'll have a blast! Enjoy spending your money and get yourself on some euro's. ;)

Snap, I've got rid of my track bike now.

@AJCConversions hope you dont mind me mentioning, if you are in the novice group I think you might find a treaded tyre like the Supercorsa better than a full slick.

Definitely correct, have got V3 SP’s fitted on it now. The slicks are from the previous owner and 6 years old…

Hoping I get 20 years of doing them; really enjoying it at the moment! I have been to Cartagena last year for 3 days and that’s where I got really hooked. Brilliant in the sun

You learn a lot more on The Euros as you get plenty of track time with reliable weather (usually). Track craft is usually higher as well.
SP's defo get my vote. I raced using them and they would stand up to an 8 hr endurance race no problem.

Tip from me if you're a novice. Grab some on track instruction. You will gain more benefit from doing that than throwing money on parts for your bike.

Had a very tatty one in the early 90's. It was great fun, but deadly scary. I replaced it with an early GSXR1100 which was much quicker but nowhere near as grin inducing. The H2 really was quite something in its day.
