A bit of a silly one but after spending some time on track I’ve become hooked! Have now got a 2CR R1 track bike and painted it bright pink. Couldn’t be anymore look at me, I just need to get out of novice group now lol!
I'm on the opposite end. 20 years of track days and racing and calling it a day. You'll have a blast! Enjoy spending your money and get yourself on some euro's. ;)

Snap, I've got rid of my track bike now.

@AJCConversions hope you dont mind me mentioning, if you are in the novice group I think you might find a treaded tyre like the Supercorsa better than a full slick.

Definitely correct, have got V3 SP’s fitted on it now. The slicks are from the previous owner and 6 years old…

Hoping I get 20 years of doing them; really enjoying it at the moment! I have been to Cartagena last year for 3 days and that’s where I got really hooked. Brilliant in the sun

You learn a lot more on The Euros as you get plenty of track time with reliable weather (usually). Track craft is usually higher as well.
SP's defo get my vote. I raced using them and they would stand up to an 8 hr endurance race no problem.

Tip from me if you're a novice. Grab some on track instruction. You will gain more benefit from doing that than throwing money on parts for your bike.

Had a very tatty one in the early 90's. It was great fun, but deadly scary. I replaced it with an early GSXR1100 which was much quicker but nowhere near as grin inducing. The H2 really was quite something in its day.

"Incontinence" is currently having her annual spruce up..

Stunning. Incontinence could spill her oil on my floor any time.

Old school for me. Nothing like a bit of two stroke.......
I can smell it from here.

(OK, I feel a bit of an imposter, but I've got a test drive in a T6.1 later this week.)

There's some very lovely, very shiny bikes here, and a hi-tech prosthesis to remind us to be careful.
First is my new S100RR. Got it in March and took this when I got home from a Donington track evening last Monday. I live a few minutes away and have been a couple of times over the years, but there's not many number plates and indicators at track days now. 51 degrees of lean according to the fancy app, made less believable by 1.6g of acceleration.
The BMW has joined the CBR6RR I've owned from new since 2003. I never wanted a 1000, but the electrics have got so clever...
One pic of the old bike at Trac Môn, showing off my ancient Crowtrees, another up a freezing Alp on the way to the Red Bull Ring for MotoGP, showing off the current van.

My current collection, I must get more miles in this year.View attachment 104168
I’ve a soft spot for an R1, had a 2003 5PW. I’m now on a XSR900GP which has a bit of the TRX about it.

I don’t have a bike now, but here’s a picture from 1992/93 of me and my brother on matching Kevin Schwantz replica Suzuki RGV250’s!

Met him at the US GP this year, I’m on his left, my mate Mark is on the far left and Terry on his right, has a mate that sponsored him back in the day. A thoroughly pleasant guy, happy to stop, talk and have his photo taken.

Total legend. Back when they openly hated each other. I was at Texas Tornado Bootcamp with Mark and Terry where we spent 4 days with Colin Edwards riding dirt bikes at his ranch and met Kenny Roberts Jr. Unbelievable holiday.

Revvin' Kevin was beyond legendary in his day.

This was my last bike. 18 years old with 12,000 miles on it and unmarked. Unfortunately the bike and myself were both written off by an elderly guy pulling out on me. Lots of titanium rods, straps, screws, scars, hardcore physio and time later I'm back on my feet. The bike didn't fair so well though. Unable to ride again so bought a silly car instead. Still need the buzz that only bikers will understand.
