Confirm the T 32 definately has a different lower shock mount , Dimensions of everything else on the shock is the same /
Fitting Coil overs to allow up and down adjustment to sort the rake out is not quite that simple . Transporter models come with a range of spring rates depending on model
Coil overs are one spring fits all scenario which means adjusting a rear spring to get the rake looking correct could end up with a pretensioned spring with very little travel left on rear . ( poor ride ) the reason many owners end up with saggy bottoms is because they have added mods of course , but he main reason is that the spring suppliers dont research each application correctly and many customers end up with the WRONG kit supplied .
If you dont want extreme lowering a sport kit gives much better results and maximizes comfort with great handling . ( also looks perfect )
Expect less comfort with a coil over kit and the lower you go the worse the ride is ,

Thanks for the input CRS, the last few days I have started thinking of a sport damper with a lowering spring setup

I'm not sure I need to go lower than 40mm or 50mm - will be running 19" wheels

Markob although the low kits are popular all the issues start with drops lower than 50 mm . I have a client at the moment with a SOLOW kit and huge tyre wear issues due to wheel alignment problems , we are going to try some Powerflex bushes but there is a limit to how much thay can help as they only give 0.7 to 1.0 degree adjustment and the toe can go to 2 degrees with excessive lowering .

40 to 50 mm definitely sport kit is the answer no doubt . There are lots of happy clients on here if you do a little research

Thanks CRS I'm convinced now - 40mm or 50mm max

Will also be driving in the mountains (snow) in jan so might need a bit of clearance at times!

We use our demo as a snow plough when we go boarding- gets though everything with 4Motion and snow tyres :)

We run three vans with different suspension options if you want to try B14’s as low or as high as they go as well as H&R springs

We managed ok last year with just 2WD but a couple of times I looked at some steep hills with 4WD envy / regret :(

Will be looking into the Traction Control retrofit as I did have to use the trick (to get the traction control to switch off) once or twice to be able to get moving

The KONI adjustable is probably ideal but the Special Active has been used extensively in 40 MM drops with no adverse effects

probably better we discuss your needs so I can give you the technical info and get a feel for what YOU do with the van ultimately
