Is it even possible to get 103s in a 19” do you know, looked like They was fitted on a Kombi so assumed it was a t32

255/45/19 are predominantly 103's. You won't get a 19" tyre any lower profile than 45 that are load rated high enough.

To give you an idea how 19" look on 45 profile tyres.

275/40/19 105 load rating if the rim is wide enough?

These might be ok on the rear of mine, but i'm scrubbing my inner arch in certain situations on 255s, so wouldn't want to go even wider on a 9" front wheel.
Plus the 255s fit lovely on a 9" where as a 275 might look a little wide.

On the subject of this thread, i'm very surprised these wheels haven't sold.
Ok, so Mark is a good mate, but these Amarok 19s sell for far more money than the £800 asking price once we get out of the Christmas season, where not much is selling this month.
The £800 includes a set of Continental Sport 6 tyres, which are a fantastic tyre and not a budget ditch finder that so many people use.
Personally I wouldn't drop a penny below the asking price as they've been reduced already, but they are not my wheels, and i've seen @T6180 garage.
A very fair price for a set of stunning straight forward fit genuine VW wheels, that need nothing doing to them.

Agreed. If I wasn’t already running some Amarok wheels I would have gone for these.

I'd really like them, but have been spending far too much money recently. Must resist. :cautious:

Ok you lovely bunch

I can do the amaroks with nearly new 245/45/19 102y Falken Fk510s

These are A rated in the wet and one of the quietest tyres on the market at 69db

Now the catch is as these are nearly new (see pics below) the price will have to go up to £1100ono

If your willing to pay full price I'll throw in the 5, yes that's 5 continental 245/40/19 tyres with roughly 4mm of tread remaining

Remember these are platinum silver not std OEM silver which I think look nicer

Here's some better pictures

Thinking of changing std 16" claytons to these but still on std suspension (its a T28 camper conversion).
Has anyone experience of this setup in terms of how the ride would change. Also
Would the overall height of the van increase as a result of the larger rims?

In my opinion it is a much better ride. When I moved from 17" Devonports to 19" Amarok (Aragonits) the ride became slightly firmer, less wallow and the steering felt more direct, less like turning a broom in a vat of treacle.
Although the rims are larger as long as the tyres are chosen correctly the overall diameter will be the same. ie NO change in overall van height. (Can check sizes on willtheyfit.com)
