Single floor mats, not cab

Morning all

We picked up our T6 dsg highline yesterday and after a 250 mile drive back we’re chuffed to bits.

But we did discover a slight issue. My 5’ 1” wonderful wife can barely reach the floor and is getting a bad knee as her heel can’t really rest.

The solution - a false floor. Going to keep it simple and create a template in lightweight ply and glue it to the back of a floor mat so she can whip it out when needed. Secured down of course.

So my question really is, apart from the £55 Sportline mats has anyone come across separate floor mats rather than a can mat? I’m struggling to find much out there.

I could cut down a cheap cab mat but would loose the ending which I would like to avoid.

Have you got a swivel base on front seat? Is it a bench?

Twin seats, both swivel. I have thought this might be the issue but she hasn’t driven a T6 without so nothing to compare against.
I’m prepared to remove the drivers swivel if it will solve it - it’s overkill.

swivels generally add about 40mm so takin a swivel out might solve it but a bit extreme maybe. You can get reduced height swivel bases but I'd imagine your electrics are in the seat bases. Hope you manage to find something. I thought perhaps some of the camper festivals coming up over the next few months would likely have all sorts of options
