Single Wire under drivers seat

Good morning all hope you are well.
There is a singular wire under the drivers seat, it appears to go actually into the middle of the underside of the seat base.

Does anyone happen to know what this is for, first guess would have been seatbelt warning but assumed it would have been routed differently.

It’s a swivel captains chair if that makes a difference.
*Edit: As far as I’m aware it’s not a heated seat, or at least I can’t find a button for it* / added additional picture

Thanks in advance

Do you have heated seats?

There tends not to be presence/airbag sensors connected on drivers seats as... how can the vehicle be driving without someone in the seat. This was the case in my XC70 but I've never actually checked my 6.1 though.

Hi @roadtripper thanks for the response, no don’t think it does have heated seats as no buttons anywhere for it.
Only bought the van recently but just thought it was odd with the wire (seemingly) going straight into the centre of the seat base.

If it's a swivel all wiring will generally go to the centre to pass through the swivel plate.
