Sliding door flyscreen

@Stuka have followed your lead and fitted the Amazon insect screen. It's a fine mesh so it should afford some midge protection and was easy to fit, almost made to measure. The top velcro is good but I have added press studs on the sides as the velcro adhesive there is a bit weak.
Any pics of the press studs please and any tips on installing?

Hope this helps. Top velcro is wide and sticky so left that in place. Used screw press studs with a short scew thread down by the B pillar and some more down by the cabinetry and habitation floor. Also added some tie backs so I can roll the netting out the way

Started this project over the weekend. Sticky velcro wasn't up to the task of sticking to the rubber seal so going to try a few small pop rivets to hold in place.

Thanks. Had seen them but I don’t have OEM sliders. Might have to make something up.
Have you got Camper Glass windows? I've just had one of the flush ones fitted and was hoping that the Jerba might fit but I'm fairly sure my window is a fair bit smaller than the OEM ones...

Do you think I can use one of the Jerba ones with and internal suction blind?

found the top velcro has not perfromed as expected so ended up using contact adhesive. Tie backs keep the screens out the way so happy with the end result. Will be nice to keep the sliding door open for added ventilation into the Drive away awning.

So just finish pop reviting the velco strip to the inside of the sliding door seal. Seems to be working now and the dog is not pulling it off when getting in and out. Away in a bit so will test out over the weekend if it's fully successful or its back to the drawing board.

Most of the velcro I have bought does not have enough glue adhesion to counter the pull of the velcro itself. Have not got a dog so it would take a mosquito with attitude to pull the fly screen down Good luck

Hi Guys
I purchased a 120w x 150d flyscreen on Amazon for £22 - it fits the onto the Transporter Sliding door with Velcro provided with very little trimming. I’m used a few magnets also. Message me if anyone wants more info. The flyscreen looks really good.

Hi. Did you make one for the tailgate too? The side door looks great. Did it do a good job?

Damn.. just bought one from Ali website China delivery, I thought I was being smart at £20 delivered!!

Hi AJ2
The doors screen lasted the season fine, even with a large dog running in and out and it is still in perfect condition.. I haven’t done the rear tailgate as I don’t think that I need to.
Happy new year.

SteeFree on eBay do one for the tailgate:

I've used them for some rail clamps and the service was fine, I think in another thread other folks have tried the same screens and found them OK.
