Sliding Interior Roof Panel ???

@Dale. I don't know about Reimo roofs specifically but I suspect it's easy enough to do once you get your head around it. Just don't overthink it as I think some have done - mind you, it could just be that the design of my Westdubs roof lends itself to a simpler approach and I got lucky.

Pretty chuffed with my first attempt on my Skyline Aurora. Bit of fiddling and still going to engineer the sliding rail to be a better fit

That looks great, similar to my one which was fitter in my conversion. Do you ever put any weight on it from the top? I feel to close it when the kids are asleep up top in case they fall, I fell once in My sleep and nearly broken my ankle! But I don’t want to risk breaking if it someone shuffles down in their sleep and lays on it

It’s only two of us in the van so haven’t used it up top. But my one slides under the roof bed so doesn’t take any weighty

Yeah mine slides under but can go across while someone is on roof bed. I feel it’s not worth the risk of closing it while sleeping as even my 5 year Old’s weight might break it but weighing that up them falling!

I’ll protect the van first

Poptop issue

Something that's been on my mind for while, when I'm lay in the poptop, my body weight means the hatch won't slide shut. Is this normal?

Thanks, the metal clip is lethal, I always envisage slicing my guts open on it!
