Hi everyone - not sure if this belongs here or in a special section for sliding window leaks, but...
We just got the sliding windows replaced with plain windows, as they were (surprise surprise) leaking. But we're having all kinds of trouble getting the interior trim that goes around the windows, because the door frame is a sliding window fit, and the window itself isn't.
Listers Coventry (who to their credit have been going all out to fix this) have twice tried to install the seals that fit with the original sliding windows, but they obviously won't do. Cue lots of head scratching all round.
I can't be the only person ever to have done this, surely? Any suggestions?
