Software update for 69 Plate DSG sluggish pulling away

If you have a performance map on your van, or even a tuning box the factory can now identify the power increase and it puts a mark against your VIN as soon as your van is connected to the factory server if you do decide to take the van in for the update.

@Flyingspanner Your pull away must have been really bad.
I've just had it done, and while it is an improvement, it's not hugely noticeable. I'll have to take it to the real 'problem' junctions locally to give it a proper test though.

Mine was pull up the junction or roundabout, press pedal to pull away......nothing..... bang off we go.
I’m mine, this has disappeared. Now pedal, smooth drive straight away.

I notice today that reverse seems much better. Takes much less effort on the throttle to actually get moving

TVS is the way to go for this issue. 100% cures all your gearbox issues and makes it drive how it should do, and stops its trying to get into 7th at 40mph. DSG is an amazing box, but can be made so much better.

I would love to get this done. but only had the van 5 weeks. Want to put a few more miles on it before possibly doing the TVS upgrade before my warranty runs out, then ill get remap as soon as warranty is up.

The box is too expensive to have them kick out a warranty claim, maybe when it’s three years old
