Morning all, so I have my panel fitted to the roof and I was going to run the wires for it today, I have cut the hole for my entry gland and I was originally going to cut the supplied connectors off then feed the cable through and add some new connectors inside the roof so it looks a bit neater.
But questions: being that the panel is generating electricity am I going to get a shock if I try and cut them down?! If so anything I can do about that?

Or do I leave the cables long and just leave the connectors on the roof and run my extension cable down through the gland?
Thoughts/ help greatly welcomed!!

Cover the panel up and there will be no electricity being generated.
Even if it was uncovered in bright sunshine it would struggle to shock you, but play safe and cover it.

I would cut the connectors off to keep the cable actually on the roof as short as possible.

Hi, what is the name / part number of your entry gland. That one looks very neat, mine which came fitted has failed where the wires go in. Cheers in advance.
