Solow low

Solow low won’t spring back up why is this please

I’ve pulled it up. It comes up fine can here the oil but when pushed down it stays down

I might be having a moment here but I reckon the spring helps push it up when it’s all fitted together?
Someone will be along to tell me I’m wrong and give you some proper advice. I’m used to it.

There should be enough resistance in that damper for the piston to return to full length.

Looks like it’s failed and you’ve lost oil. A new one is required.

It’s also missing the adjuster sleeve and possibly the piston seal.
