Sometimes bills are good

Thats a right bummer @Pauly :(
I got done a few years back. Speed limit change from 40mph down to 30mph so the &£%#ers had just taken down the old 40mph signs - thus bringing into force the street lightning rules for 30mph. Still makes me swear now
They did me for doing 36 in a 30 FFS!!

My missus got done a few years back in a temorary 40 limit in a 50 zone, the fuzz were camped out all day and made a flipping fortune - she worked for the police (civvie side) and got told off at work for getting a speeding ticket and 3 points.

Still the chief constables wife got done the same day lol.

Already done a speed awareness course just hoping it was over 2 years ago, think it was ?
Im thinking i will return the lower one first and take the fixed penalty incase the bigger one means going to court, at least i will get to have my say

Be aware Pauly, that if you contest this and your van is a Kombi the speed limit is 60mph on a Dual Carriageway, not the stated 70mph. I got done at 86mph in a 70mph (A64) and decided not to contest as someone may raise this at court. 86mph - 60mph =26mph =BAN!!

I would pay the higher one first if you wanted to contest anything.

Not going to contest anything but had very similar in the past, im guessing the higher one will force me to go to court as too much for a fixed penalty i reckon it will be a 6 point offence but as i will be on 6 points already i then get to ask not to be banned and pay the increased fine to take 5 points (extra £300 last time it happened)

better set that speed warning up on the dash Pauly

Didnt quite understand this when it was posted but picked up a euro6 courtesy van today while mine is in being repaired and it has a settable speed warning on the dash !
Theres a couple more options on there mine doesnt have like instantaneous fuel consumption, is this a difference between euro5 and euro6 or just different dashboards, anyone know ??

mine is euro 5, and has speed setting and the instantaneous fuel consumption

Mines a Euro 5 Pauly and thought yours would have it aswel that's why I posted it

How peculiar, wondering why mine doesnt show them now ??
Will have to have a proper look through the MFD and VCDS when i get it back later in the week, mine is an early model manufactured aug 15 registered sept 15 and i have noticed a few quirks with it now in VCDS where stuff is turned off like lamp out warnings

My April 2016 reg had most of lamp warmings turned off as well, although it does has the other things mentioned.

What a shitter. Only just read this thread!

Can you ask to see your speeding photos?

Just thinking for the calendar
