Sound system uograde

Hi all. Getting a bit bored with my sound system looking for ideas. At the minute standard head unit speakers etc with the non sat nav but CarPlay. It’s got just front speakers from new. What’s the best route to getting a bit more immersive sound ? Any suggestions on rear speaker placing on a standard camper layout or other speaker fits or replacement etc? Be good to have a more immersive sound with speakers behind rather than the tinny sound in front of me as standard. Believe I’d need the head unit tweaked to get access to the rear speaker mixer working on head unit - im near stoke if anyone’s around that area to do that for me. Prob looking more a speaker upgrade rather than a full head unit too at this point in time, maybe with sub woofer if that can be done with the standard fit ? Thanks in advance….

I have also been looking at this in my 6.1, I have been considering some old school 6x9's in the panel underneath the bed but still not decided 🤔

But, first and foremost, you should sound deaden the front doors, door panels and door trim, done both mine, easy enough job and made the world of difference even on the standard factory front speaker.

Installing rear speakers in an already built conversion is never an easy option, locations and size is always a compromise.

Upgrading the front would be the best option, 8” will fit T6s, add a small amp is a good upgrade, or if you have space a sub, plus a good quality set of 6.5” fronts is awesome, and will run from a factory headunit

I did the door deadening and insulation and installed a mini amp with 8" focals and tweeters from @Absolut5

was blown away with the difference. the bass in the 8" is really impressive and the audio clarity is leaps and bounds over stock. For the money its a great upgrade

Big thanks …

Thanks all some ideas there, will do some research on replacing existing speakers etc. still like the idea of some in the rear so feels more like sat in the music rather than behind it with the front only speakers
