Sourcing bespoke furniture to fit around an L-shape bed (vanfurniture)

OK so I am at the end of my tether! I have an L-shape bed from vanfurniture, they do not make any units to go with it. I have scoured the land for off the shelf units that will work with the remaining space and contacted companies like evodesign to enquire about bespoke, everyone is busy and nobody will do bespoke. I have an architect friend who can design what I want but he is not a furniture maker so although I can produce a cad, it will not contain how the units will join together. I am looking for supply as flat pack. The other perhaps complication is to match the bed the ply for the furniture needs to be laminated in menthol colour by Geaves. I am looking for something like...

piece 1 for driver/RH side - approx. width available 75-79cm, height 70-74 and depth up to 60cm
piece 2 for passenger/LH side - from back to the edge of the sliding door, part to ceiling wardrobe, rest lower.

photos below, the one with the oak tops is what I am aspiring to, this was a van on ebay over a year ago so I do not know who did the conversion

Any advice on where I might be able to get something made or do I start again and is there a better L-shape solution out there?

base vehicle: T6, highline, tailgate 140bhp

appliance wise I have a left hand sink purchased
Dometic Smev MO8821L
and fridge will be either Dometic Waeco Coolmatic CD 30 Under Bench Drawer Fridge (jacksonsleisure.com) or TL20 top loading refrigerator (external cooling unit) - Camper/Caravan - Vitrifrigo

Drop a message to the young chap that’s just started J99 Design. He should be able to support you, he also uses the same laminate. I’ve been in conversation with him about various designs! Nice to support a start up too.

I can't actually find him through the member search under J99 Design?

Have a word with Northern Rose
They made my u-shaped conversion and hadn’t done one before. They had a really positive ‘can-do’ attitude and just took my measurements, we planned the dimensions of what I wanted and they made it. And it didn’t cost much more than their standard units.
It’s literally a case of taking a standard kitchen unit set up and making it shorter (or longer). In my case I just got a narrower tambour door in the set up.
The rest of the u shape was bespoke.
But it’s only dimensions in a computer. There’s things I’d change on mine, but that’s my fault because it’s my first u-shape conversion too. Blind leading the blind.

hi is yours L W B

wont Adrian @ van furniture sell you the laminated ply to match sure he would if you collected it
will he not cut you a cabinet in that laminate ( non bespoke that would fit close )
wont any of the cabs Van furniture sell fit. they are sold only as multi-fit to cut about not pacifically for the V W
they dont do the wardrobe sections. and its a shame the Transporters are not square
what you looking for Steve Field on U tube built a nice cab for that section side would show you how to do it.
you went with the L cutting of rear door access is its to long across the back now to slide a cab in
my L W B i have the 3 section bed and a 1100 cabinet opposite to the sliding door edge with no over hang jutting out .
you would just loose 1 door of the cab against your L piece or cut a slot to slide over it as a support but still be able to slide stuff in like a corner unit at home would still leave you with room for you cooker or sink sink

? you brought the sink already ?

Nick

yes it's short wheel base
@phoenixfc7 wont the van furniture's SWB 1100 cab be easy to modify to sit over or on the box and give you a 600 cabinet with full 2 door cupboard up to the sliding door the bed wont pull out fully but is big enough here's mine showing you how far the cabinet comes over we just pull the bed out to the cabinet had the mattress made to fit the gap

Question...how do you stop things falling down the back? I've got the Van Furniture L shape setup and the back upright cushion always falls down!

I’ve stapled a couple of Velcro pieces to the van panels and glued the corresponding bits to the rear of the cushions using the spray contact adhesive I used for carpeting.
Keeps stuff in place. They used to always be on the floor wherever I went.
I’ve done the same with the base cushions too.
