Sportline springs compressed: Suspension Advice?

Hi, I've just bought a 2017 kombi DSG SWB, completely standard other than sound deadening and carpet lined. The rear is clattering, and I noticed the bottom 3 coils are coil bound, as described above. The van has had sportline springs fitted, by VW. Front measures 410mm from the centre of the hub and the rear measures 430..... strange that it measures higher, despite the fact the coils are clearly compressed.... any advice on what I can fit to the rear to fix the spring issue without affecting the height its currently at? It's only done 54k and has a full vwsh, it's been looked after immaculately, just has this rear spring issue.
I should have said, the van was backed onto my drive when I measured it, and the drive is on a fair slope. The back of the van was towards the bottom of the slope, (may account for the height measurement).

Springs are meant to be like that dont waste time trying to change them just plan to get good shocks to compliment the set up , game changer in comfort , handling and general feel .

Thank you, there is a definite knocking/rattling noise from the rear suspension, and all i can find that looks abnormal is the springs being compressed when stationary. Maybe I'll have a look at changing the rubbers.... it was only MOTd in Jan though and passed with no advisories.

In terms of shocks, which would you recommend? And do you stock any?

Worn spring mounts usually make a creaking noise not a knocking . A broken spring could make a rattle, or the shocks could be loose . check the shock bolts are tight ,

Koni Make the best shocks for these vans , much better technology inside compared to all the other competitors in market
