Sportline Wheels repainted matte black.

That was the front i was talking about but Swiss vans fitted the rear too, I never noticed it was any different than my old T5 spoiler from the dealership.o_O

It's modeled on the T5 version on the upper side, but has had to be mated to a T6 underside as the T6 tailgate shape is different than a T5.

Got these Genuines on Gumtree for £300, refurbished (dipped powder coated etc) for £180(mates rates ),needed 2 new tyres £125, lets see how long the chinese tyres last on the front ! lol

nice finish!

I'm going to head over to VW centre when I have some time, all 4 of my Sportlines (t6 model) are starting to corrode especially on the diamond cut finishes. This is a known issue.... but it's annoying me now.

Warranty should cover it ? Diamond finish isn't really for our climate is it , my BMW wheels are starting to go now , take them off for the winter as well , not practical !

I'm having same issue with my Sportline wheels. VW seem to be dragging their heels regarding whether they will cover them. Been going on for 4 weeks now.
Really like the wheels but regretting getting them now. Need to sort this issue then look to finding something to replace them with.

if they don't offer to replace them under the corrosion warranty... i'll make sure they get bombarded with calls for days on end until I've cost them £800 in labour for phone calls. Then i'll take them off, get them blasted... and power coated myself. I don't want to have to spend £200 odd doing it.... but they starting to looks shit when clean

I paid over £2000 for a set of wheels imported from the States that are diamond cut. They lasted 3 months of our winter, and when I sent pictures of the corrosion, they just said diamond cut wheels are not designed for salty winter roads.
I've since removed the diamond cut and gloss Blacked the full wheels, which is a much more resistant finish.
You will be lucky if VW don't take the same stand.

Unless anyone has a set it would seem pretty hard to find anywhere.

So can anyone recommend any 18" wheels in Matt Black that are pretty similar.

So far I can see the SuperMetal Bullet's come reasonable close, what others do?

We have these, the Factory OEM ones.

they are Gloss, but they go Matt after a few days with the brake dust and grime`

OEM one are about, if you search. not sure if its right . . . . . but seems the full black ones are gloss black . . . . . . . . and the two tone diamond cut ones are matt black?

As @Tourershine says I have original T5 sportlines. They are discontinued but do pop up on eBay occasionally. You’ll need 5mm spacers to fit them on a T62EAD5D87-02E8-4D4D-BE8C-8ACF9D5BA7B1.jpeg
