Steering Wheel Straight Swap??

Evening all.
I’d like to put the Golf Mk7 steering wheel (with paddles) in my T6.
I’ve been reading through a few posts on here and am still none the wiser.
I’ve attached two photos, one of my wheel and one that I’d like to purchase and I would just like to know if it will fit ok? I will be swapping the middle bezel and buttons so essentially I’m just using the wheel.
So,
Will it swap ok?
Will the buttons swap ok since I have no ACC?
And will I need any coding?

And all ok with the paddles? Do they wire up different, or is it already wired for them?
Just thinking that if I swap out all the middle the wires for them must be somewhere?

The paddles plug into the back of the existing buttons, just be careful when you remove the old buttons, there’s not much slack in the cables to the paddles.

This was asked the other day, and I think the heated feature isn't a straight forward job, as it wasn't ever an option on a T6.

I just think I need to have a limit to how many gadgets - gimmicks - gizmos I put on my van!!

Its also the wrong wheel for a T6 and will not fit your airbag, note the two little hooks are not present for the airbag to clip onto

It surprises me that the amount of information on Steering wheels in here, the same questions keep coming up. I've answered the MK7 Golf one a few times in the last couple of weeks.

That's not directed at you @LambethBoy, it's just a general observation. There must be an easier way to quickly determine if a part is compatible or not.

I think that’s all it needs..! Just a straight forward list
As I’m still confused wether it has to be the Mk7 golf one... as the Tiguan, polo and other models all look the same!

Mine is MK7 Golf DSG and it was a plug and play after a quick switch swap. So I know that route works.

But its not quite that simple, as my van has the CC on a stalk not the steering wheel, so the same wheel that you are using, I believe, won't work for me.

Well I’ve got this one coming... from Germany.
Once I change the buttons as I’ve no ACC I should be good to go..

I fitted @T6180 flat bottom wheel today, and he has the same CC as you, and I think his was MK7 Golf.

So @Pauly @Tourershine @Deaky how hard would it be to compile a list of compatible / exchangeable steering wheels?
Even with pictures if that helps everyone?

I've done several, and I can only say what i've fitted and know works.
I'm not sure if anyone would commit to a fixed list incase any information is incorrect, and people end up buying the wrong wheel, and blaming the 'list'
