Steering Wheel Straight Swap??

That is the downside of a list, but surely we could have a thread with posts by people who had done the swap, with the OEM setup and what the replaced it with and what they had to do to make it work. And no other posts/questiosn to stop it getting confusing.

I fitted @T6180 flat bottom wheel today, and he has the same CC as you, and I think his was MK7 Golf.

Just looked back through my WhatsApp messages from him, and it has the listing for the wheel I fitted today, which states it's a T6 wheel 'Not a MK7 Golf Wheel' Which is odd because I didn't even know they offered flat bottom wheels as a factory fit, but his was a straight swap over wheel to wheel, with no button swap.

I've done several, and I can only say what i've fitted and know works.
I'm not sure if anyone would commit to a fixed list incase any information is incorrect, and people end up buying the wrong wheel, and blaming the 'list'

I'm working close to Leicester (Barnwell) over the next 4 weeks. If I can find the correct wheel could I trouble you to assist me with the fitting. ?

If you dont have ACC you need to swap the buttons off a mk7 with cruise control only.

I have a complete mk7 golf r wheel for sale with acc and a standard t6 highline wheel with cruise control if anyone wants either.

Also if you want help with buttons let me know

Mine is MK7 Golf DSG and it was a plug and play after a quick switch swap. So I know that route works.

hi, did the airbag from the original wheel fit? I have a highline wheel with no acc and wanted one with paddles. That’s the only reason for a swap really.

If it's the same shape, then yes it should fit.
