The use of the custom profile is certainly unusual but I'm a bit reticent to directly advise you based on the information on this thread, it would be better to follow up with the original converter or electrician if possible in case there is a good reason that has been set up - primarily because I'm not convinced that if you change the type from "custom" whether the settings will be retained for you to return to if needed. You might be able to check that with Sterling directly.
I would certainly look to getting your battery feed fusing checked as well.
