Suede lining (foam and scrim backed) the pop top bed boards. How do you finish the edge of the suede when it has foam backing?

I’m going to suede line my pop top bed boards. Just seeing how people finish it at the edges?

I can wrap it around the sides of the bed boards, but you still see a thick foam edge which is no good. The top of the bed boards will be carpeted.

It’s not like ply panels where you can tuck it around the back, and no one will see it You see all sides of the bed boards.

Do people use some sort of edge trim?

Thanks

Can you cut a groove in the edge and slot the suede lining into it. A slot like for the t-trim.

Maybe, I’ll give it a try. Thanks.
I’ve tried taking the foam scrim off the back at the edges but it’s really stuck on, and nearly impossible to remove it neat.
I was wondering what other people have done to finish i? I’ve seen a few suede finishes on pics on here.
