Swap out of Palladium front seat

Hi VW community!
I am hoping I can find some insight regarding changing front seat to a two seater bench in the front of my T6.1.
Currently I have the palladium grey leatherette so my question is..
Where can I source a front bench and what would the likely cost be?
How difficult is it if I were to undertake this myself and are there any additional parts or factors which I need to consider?

Couple of things.
You may only have a single airbag, will need a double.
Is it a t6.1? You need 4 extra studs putting in, you can get at 2 of them from underneath but 2 are behind the adblue tank. Needs going up on a ramp really.

Price wise, benches are cheap as most ppl go from bench to single. Be plenty on here offering good money for your single

Regarding the change from single to double airbag, can this be done as a local garage is saying it is a massive job?

It's a bit fiddly to get at. Have to access it from underneath. Little socket set with some torx attachments and a YouTube video and I managed it myself in a couple of hours

OK, did you manage to do the airbag also? Is this on T6 or T6.1?

T6.1. Yea the air bag is just 4 screws and a plug. It's getting at it is the hard part
