Hi everyone,
Has anyone got any experience of fitting aftermarket swivel seat on the passenger side with the VW night heater optioned on a 2019 T6 lwb Kombi?
The issue is the night heater comes with a second battery underneath the single passenger seat. When fitting the Just Kampers passenger swivel seat there’s a large nut underneath the swivel plate which sits on top of the battery, meaning the plate is too high. The only way around it I can see is to cut away the battery tray from the seat frame (it’s welded in place) in order to move the battery rearwards and allow space for the nut. This seems like a pretty drastic option, so would love to know if anyone else has gone through this process and s any other work around?
Cheers all
Matt
