Bit of an update: After speaking to the 'Chairman' at our production facility, we had a long conversation regarding our 20" mould line-up and my line of enquiry was having ALL of our 20" wheels load rated to 860kg and beyond. He is fully on board with trying so its a case of watching this space! I would love for Inovit to be one of the first mainstream brands to have a full 20" wheel line-up with weight loading capacity of 860kg and being able to supply at affordable prices to the consumer. There are even some murmurings of a 21" staggered wheel line-up (mainly to cater for our US branch requirements) but obviously that could also benefit us too as I will be able to stock 21" staggered.

It will take a few months, but having that accolade would certainly be a feather in the cap for us. If you want any info regarding our products or what not, don't hesitate to ask me.

Regards,

Adam

Had a chat with VeeMann wheels rep today.
All their wheels - highest load rating 815kg.

There are looking at designs for higher spec but at present thats only in design phase.

Have just placed an order for these:

1Form Edition.1
18 x 8.5", ET45. Load rated at 860kg.
Tyres will be Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 255/45 R18 103Y XL.
Looks as though delivery will be early March from the first production batch of silver wheels in 18".
Toby @ Rimstyle has been very helpful :)

@Keaney Any pics of the Judd's fitted? You must have them on there by now! ;)

Any issues with rubbing?
Haha I do mate had them in my garage since December and just put off putting them on till the air was done. The air then got delayed due to billstein supply issues.

Air is now scheduled for Feb 5th to collect on the 14th and the wheels will be on then.

Figured I may as well keep the oem alloys on in the winter plus it would look daft with 20s on t32 springs haha

.... to say i feel like a kid at xmas would be a understatement! Looked at trying to get it in sooner but didn’t want to mess up timescales on the Hilo being fitted so it’s all go

Morning boy's and girl's, new kid on the block warning, been around for a while in the shadow's just gathering info from you knowledgeable people but now the bus has arrived and it is the time to press the button and start the works.
Got a T32 204 DSG 4motion (team starlight blue) which is going on air ride, paid a visit to the boy's up at LK performance following some good reviews on here but came away a little bit confused with the set up they have suggested and would value some feedback if possible.

The setup they suggested is as follow's
20x9 on the front with offset ET30
20x 10 on the rear with offset ET40
Both running 255/45R20 Kumho HP91 105W XL

Oh and yes the wheel are the correct loading for a T32, a point that i would not have paid attention too if it had not been for this forum.

Phil, Try this site Will They Fit - Online Wheel and Tyre Fitment Calculator I find it very useful....my opinion (and I'm no expert) would be that 20x9 fronts needs to be around ET35 especially if your thinking of lowering the van.

I've got 20x8.5 ET25 fronts and its very tight on the front arches and my next set will be at least ET35. I'm running 20x9.5 ET35 rears and they seem just right
Tyre wise if I was going 20x9 i'd use 265/40/20 103s if you prefer the lower profile tyre...but its all down to looks and comfort

As mention, I'm no expert..

I think the reason they come up with 2 different wheel sizes, is the distance from the wheel hub flange to outer edge of the wheel arch is different front to rear.
If you read the threads regarding wheel spacers many people who fit them use 20mm on the front and 30mm/35mm/40mm on the rears depending on the wheel.
There is about 15mm more "Tuck" on the rear axel compared to front.
Therefore LK's configuration gets around this, so that the wheel outer edges line up with the wheel arch front to back.
The tyre size is about 7.5% larger (rolling radius), so the gearing/speedo are increased by 7.5%. The diameter is about 50mm increased, so the radius is around 25mm more than standard; i.e. the van sits 25mm higher (before you lower the suspension), and also it closes the gap between the top of the tyre and wheel arch by 25mm.
It look is perfect imo, and still totally practical.

This is my old T5 with 18" wheels, and a 30mm suspension drop(standard on a T5 vel)
The tyres have are the same overall size (outer radius) as the ones you are considering (255/55/18). Spacers 15mm different front and back; because the wheels are VW with the same et and width front and back; you proposed config will achieve the same.
And also you get a bit of that classic staggered "drag/performance car" look, with slightly wider back wheels

Right everyone... the van is now on air however the Judd t311rs have a bit of a issue with fitment:

Front offset means it doesn’t clear the brake calipers and too much of a spacer may impact the arch clearance
Rear puts them close to the arch liner

Looking at spacer options at the moment so will keep yous informed

Nothing is ever simple with these vans m8 , hopfully the spacers will fix the issue, what et did you go for keaney

Et45 if they don’t work I’ll have to try sell them on... maybe they would work on a t30 as they have smaller brakes I think?

God knows just hope Phil @ the install company can come up trumps

Do judd do a et35 for front and et40 for rear ? If they do maybe exchange , think 180 & 204 have the big brakes but have heard some 150 have them aswel .
You wont get stuck with them if wont fit as very nice wheel

They do other offsets so I’m thinking the rears will work but fronts not sure on the et45 offset

If the fronts dont work remove the tyres clean the rims up and try exchange, wheel firms can be funny if they know tyres have been fitted so tell a little fib
