Both door speakers on my OEM stock T5.1 2013 aren't producing any bass (treble from the dash speakers seems to be ok).
Playing with the EQ and balance on the head unit, it appears treble is fine and mid is ok. No bass, and adjusting it gives no change.
I've got the passenger side door card off. Speaker gives a resistance of 3.1ohm, which is consistent with 4ohm impedance.
Speaker looks intact. Connections look clean. Continuity to head unit seems ok with resistance of 0.2ohm on the cable.
Anyway of testing the head unit? I don't have a spare speaker. And the current speakers are riveted in so I'm wary drilling them out.
It's been suggested the OEM speakers are just naff and lack bass as standard
