wow thats another way to do things. Wouldnt do it for me as unsealed so cold inside..also yes its protected from vertical rain, but i've never once seen vertical rain..

We managed to test a slideout only one season, in August in Norway. The lowest temperature outside was +10 degrees at night therefore it was not cold to us with good sleeping bags.
Moreover, we do not need to seal at all, ventilation is necessary, we always open side windows.
The Norwegian rains always different, happened also with a strong side wind, no problems ...
