T6.1 led front driving/fog lights

Darren,

just yesterday fitted a set of LED fogs in my van - no errors on dash and also work with cornering function, although rather than the ‘fade in and out’ light of the halogen it’s more of a direct on/off

H8/9/11/16 Twenty20 Compact LED Headlight Bulb

The above are a direct replacement bulb with no extra wiring and give out the 6000k ‘white’ light like most LED’s
Thanks Marbzy, I bought some E2 H11’s from Amazon, fitted them and got the dash error, even though they were advertised as error free. They have been returned today and I have ordered those you posted. I will post how I get on when fitted.
Thanks again.

Any update on this please guys?
I previously had LED upgrade bulbs/lamps haha in mine, but got lots of condensation/ water ingress.

Could anyone advise the bulbs they used, are happy with, causing no dash errors or condensation ingress.
Trouble free would be good

The fog lamp unit are not sealed so whatever bulb you fit they will need to be waterproof to some degree.. I had to conformal coat and silicon seal my Switchback H11s for Autobeam.. no problems since then, but this isn't trouble free!

Ok cheers guys.
My front fogs previously were like a gold fish bowl so drilled a small hole it bottom, obviously no issues since haha.

I've just popped some Travellin-lite led's in as I'd already purchased those previously. If I have any issues will go for the Osrams likely. Tbh would like to replace front fogs now and potentially silicone seal initiall and keep eye or drill tiny hole from new to allow to breathe (any moisture in, can get out).

Im interested to know how you got on with the Travelling-Lite LED front fog lights?
I've got a pair as a Xmas present and looking to fit them shortly,,,,, are they easy to fit, and are you happy with their performance??

Yes, easy to fit... turn wheels away from side being worked on. Remove access panel, twist lamp remove and replace with new from memory. Happy with the look, they work well. I've yet to replace the fog units, on my 'to do' list.

My T6.1 did not come with fog lamps. I have read about Travelin-Lite and looked at their site and these seem like what I need to install.
T6.1 LED fog light kit
I think I have read on here that their instructions are good and they suggest no fault codes as they are operated by a separate switch you install on the dash somewhere.
Is my thinking correct?

I just replaced the original bulbs on my T6.1 with the TL fog light bulbs and resistors, like for like. I didn't need the complete fog light kit that they also stock.
I found fitting the replacement bulbs straight forward enough, although a bit "fiddly", as I'm not nimble fingered, and the space to access the bulbs is limited, but I managed it all the same.
