I got 11% off a startline, plus £1500 deposit contribution. Whether that's good or not compared to others I don't know, but I was happy with the deal
I believe you can only track car orders through the MyVW app. I tried the same with my order but ended up asking for updates via the VWCS on-line chat portal. Hopefully that will change in the future through to cover commercial vehicles as well.Signed my Paperwork for a new T30 150 DSG Kombi a month ago and the dealer told me the order is actually a stock one from a month before that. Estimated build date from the dealer at the time was Jan 1st. I'm guessing that's very optimistic.
I've got the VW order number, but not on the MyVW app yet. Anyone know at what point it should appear ? When build date confirmed ?
Pricing for new is very good though; nearly new are basically the same price, but with worse finance deals and a lot less choice.
I feel your pain! I ordered mine in early March but didn't take delivery until the very end of September! Hopefully you won't have to endure another factory shut down due to Covid.Mine was due to be built week beginning 12th Oct. I've spoken to someone on the VW online chat and they said there's no information yet as to whether it's actually built or not! Still not holding out hope that I'll see it before Christmas.
The wait is bloody killing me!!

At the moment as long as you take delivery before end of March 2021 you are protected from any change in tarriff/taxation. After that you would personally be liable for any increase due to import taxes, it's in the sales agreement that you sign, even if you didn't notice it.
