T6.1 new order delays

Thought you might say that, mines also a 4m LWB 204ps.. fully loaded Kombi. Keep hearing these are the ones taking the time. Good luck
Mine too, I ordered in February and not even a build date, thinking of giving up and cancelling my order, but problem is if I then change my mind, I dont expect that I could get the same deal!

I ordered in April - asked dealer for update and they told me there is a build date Feb 22

Thanks, The problem is that as time rolls on my priorities change so i am now thinking of keeping my T6 and cancelling the order and buying a motor home instead! Wonder if I could sell my order?

I ended up cancelling mine and went to go for a transit custom then thought what am I doing lol! So now have a year old T6.1 110 highline coming had to settle for no led lights and no heated seats but I finally got a transporter so happy with that

Quick straw poll: Who on here has been asked/told to cancel their order by the dealership?

I ,personally got a very good deal, and I think/know the dealership could make much more on my order if I let it go.

When I moaned to the van centre about the 12 month delay. He just said “ do ya want the deposit back “. I’m hanging in there as I got a cracking deal

Yes, agree, I was wondering if they might have sold my van for full money to another punter and just delayed my order! Now I am not 100% sure about cancelling, but guess if I do I will not get anywhere near the deal I signed up for, so I have to be totally certain its the way to go.

Ordered a Black Edition on the 14th of April first build date week 50 now have week 8 so could easily be a year waiting. My current van will be just over 2 years old by then so hopefully 2nd prices will remain high.

Im hanging in there as I too feel like I got a good deal and if I were to find a secondhand one with the same spec it would cost me more than the new van im sure. My dealer has told me 'it will be worth the wait'!

I still don’t know what to do, do I purchase the van that I cancelled but the dealer forgot and is now in the country. When the sportline arrives sell this one and hope I don’t lose too much money in the process.

If you got any decent amount of discount on your order, I’d be amazed if you couldn’t sell it straight on for a tidy profit. It’s a sellers market and you’ll be in possession of a very sought after van.

So if it were me, I wouldn’t be cancelling the first order. Take it, turn it around, and you'll have reduced the cost of your sportline.

I’ve got 5 brand new T6.1’s arriving in to stock these coming weeks if anyone wants to beat the waiting lists.
