I ordered a LWB Sportline in Pure Grey with only a bigger fuel tank as an extra. Ordered 2nd of July 2021. I had a phonecall from the dealer in sept saying mine had a build of week 50 and was in status ‘10’.
I called him 23rd December asking for an update and said it’s now disappeared off the system.
He is now chasing it to see what’s happened.

My business partners was ordered at the same time as mine 3rd April , , I think the dealer can only have one sportline per month , it’s been in wales for a few weeks now but expecting it at the dealership very soon , January delivery .Ordered mine April 27th got delivered to uk in early nov still nothing dealer said he’s still waiting to be told when delivery is due to him *
Did you insulate and add sound deadening ? Finding mine is very loud when driving 80db actually. It’s a Kombi though so no bulkhead
Yes both black Edition kombis , just got lucky on reading about them on the internet When we were thinking about selling the two 3 year old ones we had , managed to get the orders in very early it seems 3rd April
Vw did it just carpet lined I think it is , not noisy at all
I had the previous sportline model 2018 and the one previous to that 2014 and can honestly say this is by far the best , in every way ! From the way it drives , handling , seats , instruments , the heaters actually work properly to ! Just all round a better kombi
A couple of features you can find within the display are driving modes , you can select sport or comfort mode , it comes set in normal , another is you can set an alarm type sound which goes off when either 3 or 5mph over the speed limit , I think you have to go into navigation and route guidance settings to activate this , also as previous had to turn off manoeuvre parking as the sensors were causing the abs to kick in at low speed
And also set the tyre pressures to 42 as they always come to high

I was waiting a year nearly and cancelled my order. Just happened to find a cancellation on a BE and got a really good deal! I could not say no to! Luckily it was the first order in with the dealer and it arrived yesterday!
Is that correct, that they do have sport mode? I thought they got rid of it.

Same here first to order a Black Edition back on the 14th of April had a build date of week 50 then week 8 now who knows. Adding side assist probably hasn’t helped but still annoying that dealers all get there demos rather than paying customers especially when California Chris does a YouTube video saying there’s a years wait on the Sportline and there not taking any orders so why have Black Edition demos?

That’s purely for the adaptive cruise, and how it behaves. It’s got nothing to do with the gearbox.
it has no effect on the drive of the van, i have tried on mine. just changes the way acc behaves.
