T6.1 Sportline black edition - release date

Picked it up at 11am today!

Ride height is pretty much spot on, If anything is a fraction low at the front, i think an even archline/tyre gap all round is best,.

I asked dealer set it to lowest and they also did an alignment to suit.


It drives real nice on the Eibachs

Nice. So was it worth the wait? Mine will be 12-13 months wait possibly longer when i eventually get mine!
 
In the process of adding 14 inch number plates , gloss black vw badges front and back and changing the chromed lettering on the back both for black ,just looking to remove that chrome piece on the front above the red to a gloss back to if I can find a piece to fit

Next year lol…I’ve been waiting since February 2021 for 204 highline, my brother has been waiting similar time for the black edition. After multiple dates, the final date is april. The sportline is week 14 I think?

I know where there is a sportline now, motus in stoke. It’s not the black edition, priced at £50k..if I remember
 
An interesting thing i noticed on the conversion type approval document from Edward Davies Commercials, mine has the sequential number 201.
 
For anyone changing the front vw badge , easy , just a plastic trim removal tool or similar inbetween the chrome vw letters, you do this right in the centre of the badge , work the tool towards the outer edge of one the the letters either v or w and slight pressure levering or twisting of the tool , the badge just pops off really easy literally 5 seconds , I’ve seen a lot of people seemingly having trouble but I think they are trying to lever from around the outside of the whole thing , hope this helps
 
The rear badge I just use fishing line in behind the badge and slice off , it’s just glue , now awaiting some gloss black badges .
 
The front number plate I have simply stuck on the lower grill , a 14 inch plate looks really good lower down , it’s not budging if you think the tape isnt strong enough !just two runs of horizontal tape and your done
