T6.1 Sportline Black Edition

I took a Sportline black edition out this morning which had these Eibachs fitted wound right down on the front, it drove better than I was expecting with 18’s on it. Non black editions are fitted with 30mm springs only.
Have ordered a new van and torn between above or 30mm springs, but? Will it still drop at the back with work gear in.

Hi, hope you don't me asking as I can't seem to find it - how did you find this option on the vw-vans website? I have a LWB Highline coming soon and wanted to swap the suspension to match that of the Sportline Black Edition ie the OEM Eibach coilovers (as I liked it a lot more!). Even better if anyone knows the part number :)
Many thanks!

I've done a few small things to the van over the last 2 weeks that I think have all been positive so thought I would share encase anybody else was thinking of doing/buying any..

Full autoglym life shine.
Mud flaps.
Silicone door pocket liners.
Sound deaden'd and carpeted the bulkhead.
Extra door seal.
Smoked dynamic side repeaters.
Painted the front brake callipers.

A Saturday night clean..
How I've changed

Fleebay.
they fit well with no drilling just had to trim the front ones slightley to accept the under tray.

Do you have your van back yet Teenwolf??
Is it all done ( come back stronger )
Unfortunately I still don’t have it back, 7 weeks tomorrow! Apparently the front bumpers are really badly made. I went in to have a look at the one they took off, definitely not impressed! I’ve had a brand new full front end. It took 4 times the preparation to get the new bumper to how it should, now is has genuine VW Pure grey paint on! And not a cheap match paint like they come in! Even Volkswagen were surprised they were not using the correct paint code! 6A7B0003-7A20-4DCF-9976-3867D6EEECE5.jpeg79F2FA05-E72D-44ED-8172-FC87FB23054B.jpeg

Great.
I was going to remove mine to fit a gloss black grille at some point..
I will be scared to do that now encase it breaks..

At least its not a msrt transit.
Those things are pebble dashed in plastic trims probably made in the same way..
Hopefully not much longer till you get it back..

I wouldn’t want to remove it, I’ll leave it to the vw body shop so deal with. It’s just clips no screws, other than the sides. I believe mine has been modified to be stronger as they said it was not the quality it should be. At least I know it will be right and a lot better than stock. You had any issues with yours at all?

Hopefully when mine turns up all the known issues will be dealt with. Hopefully VW will bollock them!
I’m at 13 months now

Fingers crossed for you it comes soon! That’s a fair while now!
I’m not sure what VW are doing…. But new sportlines are arriving with issues so my dealer has said. When I went to look at mine 2 others were in for work! One was spanking new!

Great! TBH using my daughters Peugeot partner van ain’t so bad. Good on fuel 55mpg and don’t matter if it gets dented or scratched!

Don't want to speak to soon...

That’s good at least you are getting yours back! Mines coming on for 7 weeks in! No idea when it’s coming back. I did go in and look at it and it’s clearly been done properly. Did your body shop mention the quality of the front bumper by any chance? I had to have a complete new bumper kit as the original was just not up to standard for VW to repaint.

I’ve had a new front bumper, grille, etc fitted as a result of a non-fault accident.
Apparently it’s known as a “commercial pack” and is in short supply. Had to wait 3 weeks for the false air intakes and fog light surrounds.

Body shop said it’s not best quality and very flimsy.
