I have had a email conversation with them and they haven't said it can't be done they where only concerned about the dash trim not fitting the bigger screen and wanted a vin number to check parts.
I am still waiting for my van so am just in the stage of finding info out on this so I'm ready.
Might be worth a conversation with them if you haven't already...

How did you find this company? I asked about the possibility of upgrading the standard 6.5" composition colour to the 8" or 9.2" and paired with the digital dash. I explained that I didn't have the vehicle yet but knowing if this was possible would help my base vehicle decision. I asked for a quote and availability for when I got it.

All I got back was "for any upgrades we need a VIN number". Very helpful, thanks.

I got a quote a while ago... £1200 and that isn't for brand new kit. All kit would be reconditioned.. also invalidated the vehicles electrical warranty aswell so I'm told...

You can change from comp colour to discover media. The problem is with cp removal and function SwAP activations. Looks like people have cracked this now.

Physically you will have to add a new loom also as the discover media has separate HU and screen whereas the comp colour is all one unit.

Im working on this at the moment, i have my digital dash fitted so trying to sort out this upgrade now, wont happen in a hurry as im not aware of anyone in the UK who has the solution so no doubt there will be some shipping back and forth but as long as the price doesnt end up ridiculous i will do it and post about it but i wont be doing it until after the summer
Im also researching the PR codes for differences between standard and pro discover and looking at A5 camera etc

Nice. On paper it doesn’t sound be too hard. Can get main unit and screen for around £350 - £400 used. Should be able to copy long coding from a black edition. I think the difficulty is removing CP and re-jig the wiring if coming from comp colour.

MPVAG suggested not worth upgrading to 8 or 9.2 for Nav functionality. So not sure if he can do it, just recommends better to go aftermarket for nav features. Doesnt help much sorry.

Update on this, MPVAG can and is doing this upgrade. I'm having my 6.5 standard display upgraded to an 8 inch discovery unit that will work with my virtual cockpit that he fitted early January this year. He is also offering the 9.2 inch too
