Well I've had my DSG 150 swb van for 6 months now and covered over 8,000 miles trouble free. Interesting reading here. I've had a few niggles which I will list and would welcome comments.
1. Seat Covers. Ordered seat covers at end of Feb and still waiting for them. Dealer has been good at keeping me updated. VW customer service not so good as have not returned calls after complianing to them. Promised for mid May - still waiting! Said t6 covers not out yet despite it being out for nearly a year!
2. Has anyone used the 'coast' function. Not keen on it but wondered if it would improve fuel consumption which is averaging around 32mpg.
3. Rhino Kamm bars. Fitted these myself but had trouble putting the locking side plates back on. Took a while and a lot of fiddling to line it all up. (I know I'm a bit OCD) Also the roller bar doesnt fit properly with the pipe tube and had to move slightly in. Roller clamp bolts could do with being slightly longer as thread is hard to start and ended up having to get new bolts. Offer of free fitting by Rhino dealer highly recommended!
4. Windscreen - see my seperate thread
Overall well pleased!

Hi @John the Gas , welcome to the forum
1 Seat covers have been available for a while for the front seats and triple or 2+1 rear seats but some (1+1+1 rear seats) have only just come through, we had a set on order for months and the third one finally turned up a couple weeks ago, for some reason VW seem to put parts on EPAC (vw accessories listings) before they are available in this case before they even started making them ! Which covers are you waiting for ?
2 I use the coast function all the time, dont think it makes a huge difference around town its better on A/B roads and motorways but does seem to help with fuel economy, i long journeys i would guess at least 1mpg maybe more, the downhill bit takes a bit of getting used to as the van seems to want to speed up which felt a bit funny at first but now im just to it alls good.
