T6 Aircon effectiveness

I live in a hot climate and my aircon blows cold air. Certainly enough to be comfortable driving on hot days. Even days when 40c or more.
I would imagine that yours is not working properly.
One thing that we have always been told is the faster speed you have the fan on the less cool the air. Usually fan is not set to full speed.
The reason for this is that if you blow air to quickly over a cold object is doesn't get time to cool down compared to blowing air a bit slower allowing it to be in contact with the cold object for longer. Hope this makes sense.

I had my T5.1 re-gassed last year and it keeps the van lovely and cool/cold. It’s a fairly open van too and the system cools better than I was expecting.

I've always thought mine was poor from new, I've always put it down to being a dark colour and lots of solar gain from the large glass area, but it does cool it eventually. It's always worth noting that the actual temperature can feel vastly different to our bodies depending on humidity and also the fact that we're probably not yet acclimatised to warmer weather just yet could make it feel hotter than it would at the same temperature come July or August.

Drove through France during the heat wave with temperature up to 42 Celsius and I have to admit I was impressed by the aircon system.
