I am looking to go camping either salcombe or Cornwall I have a small inflatable boat and outboard so finding a campsite with launching would be ideal.
Have left it late again this year which will probably reduce my options and my ideal campsite is a quiet one without someone pitched up close to me with a bloody television on all night.
Probably best to stay home and go in January
Karrageen Caravan & Camping Park we stayed here it was really good

Hi all, we are looking to get away over the Easter weekend and fancy somewhere new so looking for recommendations.

We are just outside of Liverpool and looking to drive around 1- 2 hours in any direction. Ideally hard standing with hook up and allows dogs and children.

Looking for somewhere with local attractions or towns that we can walk to.

Stayed at Abbey Farm near Llangollen many of times which was ideal as we walked along the canal tow path into the town.

Any suggestions welcome and thank you in advance

Any good recommendations for a nice campsite on Skye in our upcoming August adventure? We've seen the C&MHCCiVX site, but are there any gems we could be potentially missing out on? Thankage in advance!

One of the very best sites we have stayed on is Greenacres near Carlisle so perfect for stop offs going to or from Scotland or to stay a few days and check out the Borders. The best facilities of any site ever - in fact I have stayed in hotels with much worse!! Decent value flat pitches and friendly people! Green Acres Adults Only Caravan Park in Carlisle, Cumbria
+1 for this site.

Booked it based on things we read on this forum. Great bathrooms / wet rooms. Games barn with board games, pool table, table tennis and a full size badminton court (extra by the hour) all pitches flat hardstands with EHU and water. Shame we're only here one night.

Hi all, we have only been camping five times as a family but our favourite site so far is 'Hopleys' in Bewdley. It's amazing. The site has loads of different areas to pitch in, it has standard feilds and electric hook up plots, it has loads of showers, toilets and wash up areas. It has a cafe, farm shop, bar/restaurant (the rustic kitchen) that serve great food and kids play areas. They have entertainment and events on through the year also. The staff are really friendly and make sure everyone is behaving themselves, so it's great for families. Bewdley is a nice little village with nice pubs and cafes along the river. Any recommendations for a Lake District or North Yorkshire campsite? Trying to get away with Mrs and kids this weekend. Need play park, clean shower block and a short walk to a pub ideally!

Have a look at Park foot in Ullswater. Park, bar, restaurant, take away food and drink and shop on site. Main shower block is nice. Plenty of walks nearby. Try and get on the main site rather than the field across the road. Just check the weather as it’s always been wet when we have been there.

Always good to know what other members think are great sites...
may even get to a T6 forum top ten??

Here's a few to start:

The Sands Campsite at Gairloch NC 500 Westeross Scotland
Hooks House Farm at Robin Hoods Bay, Yorkshire
Porthclais Campsite, St David's, Pembrokeshire.

Won't hold you to it but would like to know where next to head to?
Cloud Farm- Doone Valley is a joy. Just back after a few days of walking and relaxing by the river
