Tailgate BCM Coding

Evening BCM experts,

I have just done a tailgate from barndoor conversion. Everything works individually, has power, there is just no communication to the BCM. Are there BCMs that are not compatible with tailgate?

That’s a T5 BCM so not sure how much of the T6 advice that’s around the forum will be relevant, it may help but remember there are differences

Thanks Pauly, well spotted. It's from a 2014 T5.1, we've fitted a T6 tailgate with soft touch handle. Just wondering if this BCM will support it.

This is the link I used, I have a later T5.1 handle with soft touch. Have you ran the two extra wires?

Yes we have the 2 wires to plug A 10 (actuator) and 23 (switch) on the BCM, not sure if something has been missed with the coding
