Hi @T6LadyDriver. I looked at these too, but got some thinner coloured wing mirror trims from Dub Station (link below), and have been really pleased with the quality, easy to fit (just wiped the area with panel wipe first) and durability seems good.

Cheaper and a bit more subtle imho.

Just love the look of banded wheels....but the wife took ages painting the caliper’s and I’d hate to hide them away ...Guess it’s a personal thing ....umm:(

If anyone is thinking of selling let me know. I've got a set of 18in alloys that's Id swap if any interest.

@j4ckal.... looking good fella.... what size wheels/tyres.... and what’s your suspension set up if you don’t mind me asking??

Cheers
B14's, fully wound down, I do need the front a little lower though.
They are gp 17", 9 front 9.5 rear :)

Oh yes, oh yes.

A nice change from the usual (and usually bloody lovely) 18" amaroks.

Yes a refreshing change, love the new kid on the block 18's but these gp's are such a classic wheel. Always promised myself a set when I 'upgraded' from my T4.
Also can get a decent dish (without too much poke) on them due to the starting et.

So I'm currently debating changing my 18in alloys for either 18in banded steel wheels or 20in wheels. I've run standard 18in steels before and did notice they were a fair bit heavier than my alloys.
I've read a lot about 20in extra weight, bigger rolling radius etc but has anyone looked at the weight difference between banded 18's and 20in wheels?

Anyone had both that could give some feedback?
