Thought I’d update my build process, B14s were fitted, what a difference that made, side bars powder coated, internally almost done.Newbie to the team, I’ve had the van a few weeks now, ironically when I started my search I didn’t want white or a tailgateTurns out I’m loving both now. Over budget obvs but oh well.
It already had the front spoiler, side bars, 18’s and rear spoiler fitted. I’ve had the wheels refurbed, widow fitted(I chickened out of that) speaker and amp upgrade, passenger captain seat fitted(how much!!!!!!) THQ side repeaters, Van-X glove box(how much!!!!!!!)
Sound deadened and all that on going in the back, B14s due to be fitted this week. Loving van life boi
It’ll be more of a day van/bike van.
Side bars need a powder coat at some point too.

Those a carbon fibre handles they were already fitted, I think a bit of black here and there just breaks it up a bit I have black roof bars to go on when I get a minute to fit them

Very very nice!
Picked up our 68 Candy White Kombi 150PS DSG today. Travelled from Bristol to Swansea to pick up - fortunately one Severn bridge was open. We kept it a secret from our 7 year old son, on the pretence we were just going to Wales for lunch. He spent practically the whole journey back continually stating "this van is so much better because ..."

I think it is about time I throw my lot in with Team Candy White. The van is a 2016 Highline Kombi that we’re converting as budget permits. The roof is on and leisure electrics installed and rear opening windows fitted, it’s carpeted and has had the suspension upgraded and lowered by Steve at CRS. YoYo Bed seat and rail from Clearcut conversions and a kitchen are to come. It needs a new head unit as Discover Media unit is misbehaving badly. I’ll do something with wheels and tyres in time but there are so many possibilities my head (and my wallet) hurts thinking about it.
We’ve now got the VanStyle orange grille trim additions to replace the original silver pieces.
