Finally arrived haha and definitely worth the wait, really happy to be part of team pure grey Already started to make it my own (only had the keys a few days) and like Taylorm above I dropped her off today to Freshlayers to have their Ultimate wax is dead ceramic coating, claimed 10 year/lifetime shine, picking the van up on Thursday and will post some more pics once she’s gleaming needless to say the wish list grows but the bank account is taking a hammering, time to save for wheels & suspension oh and brakes plus the millions of other little things

Folks…need a hand. I have found a local trusted body shop to black gloss the front upper and lower grills as in the belowand Also the mirror surrounds

However, I am finding it difficult to sort out the rear badge so that the backplate is solid grey and the outer edge is gloss black as in the below:

Is there anyone out there ever done this and if so how. I can see the vdubs transporters have vinyls but not in the pure grey.

help please?

The VW badge should pop off. Then it would be a case of paint the background part of the badge pure grey and then VW bit black.

I thought the rear was one pice bit it is not. I saw a T6.1 with both front and rear VW badges taken off and the backing was still there. There are posts somewhere on this forum about it sa we..

Guys got my T6.1 pure grey today…so well on the move….does anyone have any photos of a pure grey with a tsport20 pack on it……also any recommendations for ceramic coating in South Wales area?

I can’t for the life of me find a pure grey with a t sport20 pack on it!!!!!!!!

Seats are covers…2 plus 1 front and 2 plus one rear including headrests for £280. They are a swine to get on but it needs to be tight to get the proper look. I’m well happy with them for the cost and I could get them on myself. I did have a bead on…my advice fit them on a cool day!!!

Leather Inn Ltd…Chap on Facebook. Really good. You can have what ever colour you want. Have a look at his Facebook page. He has had some good feedback from others who bought there. I’m always a bit sceptical buying off Facebook but he was spot on. Delivery took a bit longer than expected but he had a lot on back order. I would say took around a month to come.
