Team Pure Grey

I agree @Skyliner33 …I’ve been through this whole thread, some impressive vans !!
Love all the attention to detail with the colour schemes etc.
I’ve just removed the little red reflectors from the rear bumper and put black ones in, the upper brake light is next… then the bike rack hopefully, going for that matt black finish all over.
When you've painted the bike rack, sell it to me !

I believe there is a company that paints them, when I enquired, they only paint brand new ones and sell them on… I think they are £995 ready painted.
I’ve also read Anodising is better as it doesn’t chip like powder coating can. It’s something I’m considering, and I’ve seen a few posts on here about it.

Problem there for me is i have electric tailgate.:(...........

Ahh… I assume you can’t upgrade the struts like you can with manual ones?
I have done mine, they can lift the rack, even full of bikes easily, although I’ve read thats not good for the hinges, ball joints etc.

You can get a bike rack for an electric tailgate apparently! It's just different. But I don't know what the difference is....

It's official ,picking up my Pure Grey Caravelle on Thursday, slightly excited ...I know i'm nearly 56 :somersault: ...........................

How long has your wait been? Was it new from factory?
Yes it is new, but bought from a third party who already had it on order. I ordered it back in October with an expected delivery date of April 2022.

VW have been pushing the Caravelle orders through, hence earlier than expected delivery.

Spent the last few months buying mods etc...................Bought and spent far too much as usual...........

"HELL" , your only here once !!!!!

Finally got around to taking a few snaps of the van after having been to @CRS Performance for their private label KW coilover kit and having its first wash today. I’ve gone with AT wheels and big Michelin Cross Climate tyres for a bit of a moody 70s hot rod style, maybe..

The job that Steve and Steve did at CRS was amazing, great guys too and certainly impressed my 7 year old lad by making him a brew. It drives like a dream, cheers gents.

The look wont be to everyones taste, but I love it.
