Owned the van from 23-30 yrs old. I’ve had to release the cash in the van for personal reasons. Not sure what’s next, probably pump the remaining into the house (maybe a little track project too :sneaky:

I’ve owned mine from 63-68 yrs old so far and achieved far less than you with it.
Thank you for this thread and all your informative posts to the forum.
Wishing you well in your endeavours.

Well, the day I sold the van a friend messaged (who’s dads in the car industry) and said a certain German 2 seater had come across his desk from an old boy who wanted rid at a really good price, but hadn’t advertised it yet. Was asking below market price so I went tonight and looked round and got a really good vibe from him and the story and history added up. The cars done 10k miles since 2010. Not the dream Porsche, but for the money I couldn’t say no.

Tart!

Might as well keep you boys updated - missing the van loads and loads, spent the summer in a £400 tent but had a lovely time in Cornwall with a week of sun.

I am now packing for my trip to the Nurburgring on friday, in the Porsche that replaced the vans space in the garage!

New pilot sports all round, and new front brakes and pads (as the old ones were also brand new from previous own but sat for 6 years and ruined them!!)
