Yeah, not the best and late night trips to the loos aren’t fun at the best of times hence the loo in the van now

Like most people I imagine ,our porta potti is 100% only to be used for no.1's though, if sites open without toilet or shower facilities it could be a tricky one

As ex-boat owners, just to say, that the Porta Potti (admittedly normally a 365 rather than the smaller 335) will be fine for all uses! The Thetford Blue or Green additive works well - no nasty odours!! So, you don't have to restrict output! (You may have to empty the 335 a bit more frequently though )

I imagine we may all become a lot less precious / squeamish. My wife is a nurse and is not bothered by it, she says she has cleaned up a lifetimes worth!

totally agree, needs must in times like this and if doing number 2's in our porta potti means we can go away in the van then were totally up for it

100% but although my wife is a nurse too she says she it is not worth going away if she can’t have a proper shower, we have different opinions on this

While we're still talking dirty, in a past life, I've had to do lot of No. 2s in bin bags and then carry them around with me for a while - trust me anything's a step up after that but I still can't persuade the Mrs of the fact!
