Thule 928 - Movement on tow bar

Hi all,

I've had the bike rack a month or so, used it a few times and it always seemed odd that I could move the bike rack, its still pretty solid on the bike rack but I thought I'd check if this was normal (see video clip):

Can't help I'm afraid but will be interested to know the outcome. I'm looking at a Saris Superclamp.

I don't have a Thule but have a 3 bike buzz rack, it's solid when attached, no movement at all.

We have the equivalent of Thule Euroclassic G6 929 (not sure what it was called when we bought it around 7 or 8 years ago. I think this would have a similar clamping mechanism. It's been rock solid for us and I don't get the sort of movement you show in your video, in fact no vertical or lateral movement. There are adjusters to change the clamping tension on the tow bar which you could try but I can't help you more than that as I ve never had to adjust ours
