Hi all,
I retrofited A5 camera on my T6.1, it works correctly for lane guidance, but snooze every 10 seconds :)

I swaped the steering wheel with a "passat relifted" one, including touch sensors, paddles and travel assit buttons. (thank to @Pauly thread ;))

MFSW buttons work correctly, in gateway I can see a sub module:

that can't be "long coded", if I corrrectly understood, it is only the detected coded of the gateway:

I was thinking that it should be straight forward to swap it, but in gateway I got this Fault code:

and, without surprises, it doesn't work :D

Have you already told the control unit A5 (Driver Assistance) that there is a steering wheel with touch sensors? „Klar“ to „coded“ (activate Byte 05, Bit 2)

I tell the A5 front camera that I’ve got a KLR, setting “coded” on it. But it doesn’t work due to the error with the gateway.

And I changed the control unit for touch steering wheel, with a « controled one by a professional »
=> I bought a new KLR controller for Passat B8, that was tested by a professional.
I based this choice on Bentley official docs:
Fit a new Control Unit for Steering Wheel Contact Detection control unit (J1158) when fault code B17B804 is present.

I also have the submodule "JIEEHOD1ZONE" in the gateway which has the hardware part number 3G0959542A and Coding 02FFFF. Can you see this submodule?
And in the live data of the gateway I have a parameter "Steering wheel touch recognition, status" which shows whether a touch is recognized. Do you have this live data and does it respond to a touch to the steering wheel?
